Hull Washer is a system ideated for performing the automatic wash of your boat, and particularly of the part which is immersed in the water, the so-called “upperworks”.

     It’s known that on the bottom of a new boat, since the laying in the water and within few days, a thin vegetative layer forms which some months later consolidates and thus it allows the formation of small crustaceans that are particularly hard to remove.

     At present on the hulls of the affected area we perform a particular treatment by using chemicals, the so-called “anti-vegetative”; however, they don’t avoid completely the generation of vegetables, whose formation is however only deferred in time.

     The traditional procedure consists in one or more treatments that are carried out preferably at the beginning of season before the use of the boat.
The treatment consists of:
         1. haulage of the boats
         2. Sandpapering of the whole upperworks.
         3. Painting of the whole interested area with anti-vegetative varnishes.
         4. launching of ships

This “traditional” treatment implies a lot of inconveniences and consequent risks:
         1. launching and haulage of boats of considerable weight;
         2. Cleaning of hulls with a consequent introduction of harmful dusts in the environment.
         3. use of very harmful anti-vegetative varnishes that pollute the environment
 

Hull Washer has been planned and patented in two versions:
*LITE, for small pleasure-boats from 5 up to 35 metres;
*PRO, for boats over 35 metres.

   Both are fully adaptable in every harbour area and they have the aim to clean the upperworks of boats and to eliminate all negative effects of the traditional system.

     Thanks to this automatic installation, you can keep constantly clean the hull of your boat avoiding long stop periods and considerable costs.

    It’s not more necessary to perform the expensive and risky operation of haulage for cleaning your boat and moreover if you perform periodical washes, the anti-vegetative application can be avoided.

   Hull Washer besides to guarantee economic benefits to the boats owners, is to be considered a “clean” system, because it carries out its function only with the help of brushes, air and sea water without polluting, thus contributing to the reduction of polluting products consumption.

    The equipment functioning consists of an initial treatment with whom the hull is partially cleaned through high pressure jets of water and air (until to 500 bar) that remove the first formation layer, also and especially in the less accessible parts. After the first cleaning phase of jets of water and air, begins the treatment with the cleaning rollers. These rollers, that are of different forms and characteristics, are automatically substituted depending on the hull to treat, whether it is a planing or displacement ship hull or it is provided with foils of sailing boats.     

    The system is moreover endowed with underwater cameras for verifying the operations of hull cleaning. Naturally in the boat’s stern area, suitable brushes will intervene for cleaning the axis, screws, rudders and foils; moreover for granting a service which can satisfy every need, the equipment is endowed with winches that can raise the boat and performing maintenance works through the use of apposite gangways fixed around the installation.

    We have paid attention to the polluting problem; in fact Hull Washer is endowed with powerful lift pumps, that are situated on every side of the cleaning rollers for the entire filtering and subsequent water softening, and with powerful cleaning filter that are placed on the basis of the whole installation for granting that 100% of the whole organic and not-organic material is inhaled and filtrate.

    Hull Washer can be installed in all harbours, coastlines, docks and nautical yards and it is, previous inspection, projected and built made-to-measure according to your needs and to the available spaces.
